My guess is that it doesn't, but it never hurts to check.

I have replaced the master cylinder on my 88 grad and now I need to bleed the brakes. I would like to have my wife sit in the car while I tend to the bleed screws.

My thought was that if I left the ignition on (obviously the w/o the engine running) she could alert me when the low brake fluid light comes on so I would know when to top up the reservoir.

Thanks !!
