I recently traded my '84 GTV6's transaxle to a later model with the isostatic shifting set up. I do not have the correct shifter (managed to temporarily make the '84 work - signs of desperation, eh?) and need to correct this. Does any one have a spare shifter with it's mount housing for sale/donation whatever??? Please pm me. I'm located in NE Florida, USA.

Shifter

the isostatic is best tossed. If you are determined try calling Tom Turner at First floorSports cars in Jax`ville he has a ton of parts cars. 904-354-7772

I would suggest swapping the shift rod out of the old one into the new one. The old style is much more solid.

Rj,

Thanks. I'm of the opinion from what I've seen on the iso to do what you commented on. I plan on doing that at a later date when I have the time. Simpler is better.
