I want to personally thank everyone that worked soooo hard to put together a most outstanding Alfa Convention in Detroit. We have our work cut-out for us. Many, many great memories and a ton of great Alfisti. I want to also congratulate our very own Mike Besic that despite loosing the front end of his gorgeous race-car about mid-day, he also happened to loose an additional three seconds on his later runs to bring "another" fastest Alfa of the day award with a time of 1:18.5 seconds.

Well said! I'd also like to thank the Detroit folks, wow, what a weekend! And those BAT cars at the concours! Wow! I'm still basking in the afterglow!

I want to add my thanks to Eric and and friends too!! It was a super convention. I bought a GTV from South Carolina on Tuesday, drove it to Pontiac, spent four wonderful days and then drove home to Oakville on Monday. So many memories (and over 500 photos) to sort through!

The Detroit Convention was a great one but I'm sure the Chicago club will be great as well! I'm looking forward to attending it.

Chicago is my home chapter, wish I could go to more of your other events.

Hi Carm,

Thanks, the car did great all it needs is a better driver. I have thought about the Road American event but will have wait and see how the work schedule goes.

I owe Peter a drive in the car too. At the next event so just grab me by the arm and I'll let you drive it but I have to drive one of yours too you know.
