Hello BB'ers,

I am having a hell of a time finding the metal data plate that goes on the firewall of the 74 Spider I am finishing.

Dees anyone know of a source for one? I think it is supposed to designated 11502.

No luck with Classic Alfa, Centerline, IAP, Highwood.
Thanks again for your help,
Peter

They seem to make the ones that sell the most, which I guess is some combination of numerous/valuable cars. If none of those has it, I wouldn't expect to find it. Try Alfaholics? But 11502 was a US-only tipo, wasn't it? So Europe wouldn't care.

74GTV, I called your source. He is looking for one and will call me back in a couple of days.

Andrew:
I have an inquiry into Alfaholics.

Norseman50:
I sent them an email.

Thank you guys for the leads. I will let you know if I find one.

Technically, it's not really a dataplate, but rather a tipo plate. They're identical for all of that model. The VIN is on the firewall, windshield tang, and plastic plate on the door jamb of US cars.

Andrew,
Thanks for the clarification. I didn't know the plate was a called a "tipo plate". I did a search for "tipo plate" within this spider forum and no results came back. Thus my inquiry for data plate.
