Why indeed. And if going to all that trouble, why not pick a more interesting type of wood. The grain reminds me of plywood. And at the very least, continue the grain of the main face of the dash on across the glove box door. That should have been simple enough to do for someone who could build this.

Picked this engine up a year ago from a teammate of mine. It turns but not sure about compression ( irrelevant at this point). So with nothing to do because the Wuhan Flu, I decided on cleaning it up and use it as “garage art”.

So, since I backed my 76 Alfetta GT out of the garage today and thought I needed a picture of it on the snow in my driveway, we'll see if this catches on.
