The hard-headed stranger from western Ohio,
Surfed onto the board last fall.
And in his garage was the fastest black Spider,
Went one thirty-five you’ll recall.
The hard-headed stranger had no brain to think with,

His threads seemed senseless, his responses thoughtless,
His word, always the last.

Explained physics to him.

But how could they know that this simple Dave Douglas,
Knew more than they could recall.

Fired his responses without obvious thinking,
And faster than I wrote this song.

The smartest of posters abandoned the thread
Hard-head kept on, of course.
