Are these really magnesium?

I thought they were all aluminum.

FWIU, pre-85 CD-35's are an aluminum-magnesium blend and weigh 12#. Post-84 they are an aluminum alloy and weight 16#. Look up Elektron in Wiki for some info on alu-mag alloy.
