we have approx 10 of the aftermarket green tint windshields in stock (rubber gasket type). They have been here for a while because we were not sure if glue in type or gasket type until we received confirmation and sold some. We really would like to move these out as they are not something we normally carry.
The deal is $299 ea/ 2 for $275 ea. the freight is the same whether we ship 1 or 2 or even 3. This ideal for pick up in the Northeast if you are coming to the Boston area. They are individually wrapped in plastic. This is the no antenna type.

Do you also carry the same windshield in the amber, or neutral, tint? And do you have some with the built-in antennae? If so, how much do you ask for those? Thanks.

One way or the other, I may consider one of your green ones, just to solve a more immediate problem. Shipping to Burlington, VT?... in case I decide not to make the drive to Boston.

Cheers,
Peter

Peter this is all we have for GTV6.. $25 carton + $115 truck freight to Burlington. I can even recommend a good glass shop up your way. Richard

We still have these here. I would like to move them out this summer as soon as possible. They are in a large cardboard crate taking up space we could use.. keep in mind we can combine with other windshields (not even Alfas) and we have stuff going all over the country/ Canada daily..
it won't cost any more for more than 1 sent. Anybody in the New England area? we are within 2 hrs of all NE states.

Richard--
Any reason this windshield would not fit a 1979 "Alfetta" (Sprint Veloce)? And what would be the freight to New Mexico?
Thanks,

As far as I know these are only for the GTV6 1981 up. You can check with the Alfa specialists but I am pretty sure on that.
Thanks,
Richard

78-79 Alfetta GTV's ( rubber set- not glue in) use the same windshield as a GTV6. 78 is a green tint. 79 is a bronze tint ( I bought- still own a 79)
GTV6 were bronze tint. I am sure Richard has the NAGS # for this windshield. The 75-77 GT glue in is a FCW-342. 79 rubber set is a FCW-437. 81 GTV6 is a FCW-437. Gaskets are different but can be interchanged. 78-79 use metal trim in gasket. GTV6 no trim in gasket.

I agree with Richard. I think the GTV6 took a one-piece rubber gasket to secure the glass to the body. Whereas, the Alfetta Coupe with a nearly identical body, had a two-piece retainer setup (rubber + metal insert, perhaps?).

There are others out there with more knowledge on this than me... so don't take that as gospel.

I purchased one of these and it looks great! I don't really notice a difference from the bronze. Perhaps It's clearer and i can see better? Excellent price and brand new, not a scratch or rock chip. Sure, I could have found a used one (and did - a couple actually) in far away states, but crating and shipping made price difference negligible. So better to order from a reputable AUTO GLASS outfit that knows what they're doing IMO.

Same thing with installation, you'll pay a small premium over a a std installation if you want it done right with uprights and headliner properly tucked-in and without destroying the windshield gasket. I chose NEMETH GLASS 5584 N. Northwest Highway here in Chicago.

Thanks Richard at Proglass Source and Jerry at Nemeth Glass of Illinois!

Great job, the both 'a ya's!

Glad to hear it all worked out well! Now if I could just sell off the rest of them and make some room that would be great. we have lowered the price to a point where it is not worth carrying thes ein the future. Super deal if you are in the Northeast/ New england area especially..
