I didn't see an "events" section on the BB but I want to mention to you guys that the featured marque at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix this year is "The Cars of Italy". The Fiat folks will Freak Out in Schenley Park and there are various activities planned, July 18/19. Our customer will be racing a '72 Alfa Spider and good friend Don is racing his '74 GTV. Proceeds from the PVGP go to the Autism Society.

The web site is:
Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix -
The Cortile - Home

Is there a more appropriate place to post this info?

I go every year. Last year I took my Alfetta GTV and this year I'm thinking of taking my '59 Fiat 1200 Cabriolet. Lots of fun. Don't miss it. P.S. my avatar was taken at the GP.

Hello Italcarnut,

I drive a 72 GTV and I race a 64 Fiat Abarth 1000TC. Will be at PVGP. Would be delighted to make your acquantaince. My car is features on the official poster (quite and honor). And no; it's not the GTO.

The best way you can help is to spread the word among Alfisti and other Italian car enthusiast and racers so we can really make this a Italian extravaganza. With our thanks.
