Hi All,
The Alfa Romeo 164 engine swap saga continues...After explaining patiently to my local mechanic why I would very much like to replace the current transmission in the car with the one I bought along with the replacement engine (which had about 70,000 less miles worth of wear on it) I was asked to order parts required for a rebuild after changing out the input shaft bearing. I've ordered everything but a single part that I suspect goes by a different name in parts catalogues.
"Reverse Shaft O-Ring Seal" is what I was informed needs to be replaced. Suggestions?
Can I just say that when all is said and done this car shall be driven everywhere it is humanly possible to drive an Alfa Romeo.
