Balky window winders have led to my opening up the doors in my 59 Spider. It seems that I am the first one to open them since the car left the factory. The original liner material (the humidity seal behind the door cards) is too brittle to reuse. It is a textured black plastic material. I found something like it in my 55 Sprint as well. Can anyone tell me a modern source for this material, which I am guessing is a thin PVC sheet? I will just go with a modern polyethylene, if I can't find the correct stuff.
