I know there has been some discussion about this but is there a definitive answer on the best lights to use to convert gauge lights (speedo, tach, instruments) to LED? I have the interior apart right now and would like to get that done.

Thank you

There is a earlier thread that discusses the proper led bulbs and installation. I would do a search for it.

Can you confirm which lights these bulbs will replace for a 74 spider?

Speedo
Tach
Fuel
Temp
Oil
Turn signal indicator
Warning indicators
Lights on
High Beam
Oil
Fuel
All console lights

Looking to confirm which bulbs to buy to replace all interior lights.

Thanks

If memory serves , there can be a difference for the dual binnacle vs the monopod dash layout. LED directional light and may not produce sufficient lighting in all locations. Also a lot of LED are not dimmable, so you may lose that feature.

I did this in a 74 Spider (dual binnacle). Two sizes covered all of the lights and they dimmed fine. I did the same on my Giulia Super and it's worth the effort. I bought the lights on Amazon. The links are below.

Cool! Good to know. Have my dash likely try this upgrade. I've already done my speedo and tach. Do you have any pix??

No pics. I sold the spider a year ago and I’m not sure what pic I’d send. Suffice to say, the Speedo/tach look so much better at night but all the imperfections also are more easily seen. Nonetheless well worth the effort in my opinion.
