The rear window is hazy, milky on 86 Spider.
Fabric top is great so I'd like to clean up the window.
Not yellowed or hard. You can see out through the interior mirror ok, but looking from outside it's not as clear. The further you stand back the more difficult to see.images...yes, but not clear.
Anybody have a favorite product or method?

I watched a number of U tube videos. I ended up using some Mothers Plastic conditioner I had on hand. Used it manually with north/south and east/west motion. I came out remarkably well.

Hi Jon,
Thanks for sharing, my brand new top has never had any water on it and it is in mint condition, after installation I was testing for water leaks, when I put water on the rear window it turned milky white and it feels like it has a film on it, how did this happened, I haven't a clue. I tried Mothers Protectant for rubber, vinyl, plastic, it didn't work.
I will try Mothers Marine PowerPlastic in next couple of days and let you guys know the result if any one is interested.
Thanks

I just got my first Alfa a '88 Spider Veloce....someone told me they wipe the rear window off before they fold the top down (so the dust/dirt doesn't scratch when folded into itself)...and they put a towel in between the space where the window is folded into itself....is this crazy overkill or is this a common thing?

The towel in between is a good idea to prevent creasing.

I never wipe the rear window though before I out it down.
