Confirmed this morning that the clutch pedal arm is cracked on the red car, so I'm in the market for a clutch pedal if anyone has a spare....

Didn't you have this happen before?

Are you just unlucky, or is there something about how you shift or push the pedal you are not realizing?

And thus, is this failure something which is more likely to happen to certain years of 164s, akin to the 91-93 door handles or stepper gearbox gears?

Although a bit more rare than door handle problems, others have experienced the same issue. It seemed fine before we went to NZ, although this clutch pedal has always seemed stiffer than the one one my present black car.

Where does it start to break? Is there a travel stop misadjusted, or something like that?
