Of course my clutch slave decided Good Friday would be the best day in the year to fail Does anyone have recommendation for sourcing either a rebuild kit or new / rebuilt complete cylinders in Sydney??
As a follow on thought, does anyone know how far the slave cylinder should typically be depressed at rest? I'm asking as the seals appear to be find, no scratches / scouring on the cylinder or piston of note and the cylinder failed suddenly with no clutch pressure at all. My concern is that something else has bent / failed / worn in the clutch mechanism which has allowed the piston to pop out of the cylinder.
