Posting this as a separate thread because it has me concerned...

After replacing the pressure plate and throw-out bearing, when depressing the clutch I hear a loud noise that can change tone depending on pedal position, but it's almost like a whistling sound.

I bought the high performance pressure plate and TOB from Spruell and they are both different in design from what I had. The PP has straight springs instead of the curved ones I'm used to seeing, and the TOB is a Tilton type with a small bead on the leading edge that barely catches the ends of the springs. Any ideas?

Thanks.
