I had to unbolt the pressure plate from the flywheel to get the clutch housing off the tranny. It felt like the disk was stuck on the splines. Look what I found! My guess is that the yoke nut came loose at some point (it was tight when I removed it). This allowed the pull off clutch to suck the flywheel toward the tranny and caused the input shaft to rub. I could not find any posts on this so I thought I should add one.
