Hello everyone,
If you are familiar with the "Cars and Coffee" get togethers that are being held in many cities, well, Cleveland now has one!
Discussion of it first came about on FerrariChat, and a few of us are trying to spread the word to other forums. Here are the details:
What: Cars & Coffee in Cleveland
When: THIS SATURDAY, June 6, 9:00 am until whenever.
Where: Boardwalk Cafe at Quay 55. This is on North Marginal between E. 55th and Burke Airport. It is on the ground floor of that parallelogram-shaped building that has been turned into condos.
Who: All car enthusiasts. Focus on Exotic and European sports cars such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus, Maserati, etc. . . . but other interesting cars are encouraged, as are all like-minded enthusiasts welcome, car or not.
What it is: An informal gathering. Show up, grab a cup of coffee, check out the cars, meet people. Responsible, fun people who like these kinds of cars.
What it is NOT: Burnouts, street racing, fifties doo-*** music, thug life, or people with attitude problems.
The first C&C was held two weeks ago. They had a good turnout for the first time! There were some people who were not able to make it the first time, who will be there this time, so this time should be better. Lee Conti and a few of the regulars from the Canton Italian Festival show said they will be showing up, for example.
Hopefully, this will turn into an every-other-week thing -- the first and third Saturday morning of each month.
