Alfisti,

I've looked at a number of early 105 dual car intake manifolds and many of them have a thick, yellowish gunk in the water passages.

As this seems to be a common occurrence, what is the best method of cleaning/removing this stuff out of the manifold?

Thanks,

Ray

Surely someone has dealt with this before.

What is the solution to this problem?

Thanks,

It's actually quite rare to have thick, yellowish deposits in the water system.......

A past owner must have used some odd anti-freeze solution.

I would chip a sample out and test different cleaners on it to see what disolves it without harming the base metal.

Sounds like a good idea.

Thanks
