Is it recommended to do both intake and exhaust cams when upgrading cams on a 2.0L Alfetta ('78) or is installing just the intake plenty adequate? I'm looking for a mild power increase only, going with just 1750 cams vs euro. Thanks.

Cams

Chris,

When I build a 2L motor I tend to run a bigger cam on the intake . What your car needs the most is a bump in compression, There in only so much you can do with 9:1 compression.

Any experience with the limits on Spica?

I know Ingram recommended that the most I use is a Euro cam, but the mixture was so rich for me on my 79 Sprint that I'm wondering if something slightly hotter could be used.

Under WOT I should add, the rest of the time I could use the fuel cut solenoid (or Cold start? I can't remember now) to lean it out during cruise.

The big question is Webers or SPICA?
