Hi James, Glad it went to a good home!!
I've got an S3 with VVT so yours would not have worked for me.
But am planning to do mine soon
Can you share the paint shop info with me?
Did they do two coats, Black and clear over the Alfa script, or just the black and left the script just polished?
Grazie mille
Ciao

My wife cleans and bead blasts them.
I take them to a professional powder coat shop in Tulsa for the finish.
My son polishes off the coating over the lettering and other bits where necessary.
That's it.

We did another cover in black for an S3, but I sold it to someone in our local Alfa club chapter...

We have two more cam covers that are ready to be bead blasted one for an early 70s Spider, and another one for an S3.

My wife has an 88 S3 and we did hers in mild crinkle red - looks Great!

If you give me an email address, I can show you some pictures of the other cam covers we did.

Thanks for your interest.
