I have been looking for these also, with no luck. Any suggestions on sources ro alternatives?
While their size, shape and color are about right, tapered rubber stoppers are made from awfully hard rubber - doesn't seem like they would provide much noise isolation.ossodiseppia said:I think you might be able to get away with sourcing two parts. ... The second piece would be a tapered stopper with a hole.
That setup with was originally designed for the SPICA manufactured fuel pump. The pump itself hangs from two of the isolator bushings similar to those in your picture. The newer Bosh pumps that were used in all later model SPICA cars have a different set yo and only hung from the isolator bushings. Most 69 model year cars are missing the over engineered fuel pump bracket because the original fuel pump has been replaced. While their size, shape and color are about right, tapered rubber stoppers are made from awfully hard rubber - doesn't seem like they would provide much noise isolation.
