Mine is almost stripped out. I don't know if this is the fault of some careless mechanics in the past, or a weak spot. I'm thinking weak spot since that bolt gets a lot of shear force on it when setting the serp belt tension, and it's bedded in aluminum. I'm going to do a helicoil repair. Pic is pirated from Steve's TB change thread. Looks like that one is pretty bad too.

Anyone else had this same problem?

I'm as guilty as the next guy for over tightening bolts on Aluminum. I should use a torque wrench.

This is a consequence of all. Negligent mechanics, curved hands, time, aluminum. M6 to M7, M7 to M8, M8 to M9...........
