I am restoring a 69 GTV in PAkistan... see the " GTV from PAkistan " thread. The email form Marco Fazio gives the history

"According to our documentation files, the chassis number AR 1452651 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce RHD (105.45), manufactured on the 14th May 1969 and sold on the 12th June 1969 in Karachi, Pakistan.

The body colour is metallic light grey (AR 727), with black skai interiors."

The car is going to be painted soon as the monsoon rains end as there is too much humidity in the air and rust appears in ten minutes on bare metal.

I would like to upgrade the brakes while I am at it. Will the brake upgrade kit from centerline fit it... i am referring to especially the 1750/2000 front brake discs cross vented and grooved from centerline. Some sites especially ebspares mention that these are different in series 1 cars and the 2000 GTV certainly is a series 2. I would have ordered by now if it were not for this confusion

Centerline Products: BR202 Cross-Drilled Front Rotors - 1750, 2000 1969-74, 2000 Spider 1994
