Brake fluid tank rubber stopper.

The little rubber stopper on the "low brake fluid" sender on the top of the tank is missing.
I found out that is an easy way for water moisture to get into the tank if it is missing.
No one seems to have them for sale.

If yes, it can be ordered from your local Mercedes Benz dealership. That is where I got mine. Part Number A-000-431-90-87. I think I paid less than $10 Canadian for it.

This type of reservoir was not the original on a 1974 though, should that matter.
Its actually better the the originals that had 3 caps. But either will work. Its just a matter if you want absolute originality.

ATE went to the reservoir in the link in 80 or 81.

If you took your 74 to an Alfa dealer in 86 and it need a reservoir. You would have gotten the one in the link.
