Hi,
I seem to have suffered what to me at least seems an unusual failure of the braking system. Driving today the brake pedal was a little soft, over a period of 60Km or so it got softer and softer. It would always pump back up but it is not safe to drive.
Initial checks under the bonnet revealed the reservoir overflowing, the fluid is dirty and grey. I've not seen a reservoir overflow before, it is as if it has pressurised itself? No other obvious leaks.
I'm a long way from my reference materials and tools, any thoughts? The braking system is the floor mounted pedal and remote servo. 1300 JZ 1972
Thanks!
