A "Helpful" mechanic did not replace (lost) my 2 attach screws on each drum. They say consistency counts. So now I need 8. Any one know a size and or source on these little dears?

Thanks,

John

John, they are tapered (countersunk) 6X100X14. I use stainless steel Philips available at any good hardware store. No rust no fuss. They only hold the drum on till the wheel is lug nutted tight.

Cheers,

Those screws served only one purpose..to hold the drums on the car as it moved down the assembly line as wheels mounted just hindered progress and freedom of worker movement at that stage of assembly. They tried chewing gum and it failed..

You can leave them off and rest assured you are not compromising safety. Your humble Uncle
