The image shows these items which I'm calling :brackets". IMG-2091.jpg
They fit inside the runners which are utilized when attaching the runners (with seat) to a seat mounting location in the car. Are these necessary? In exercising the seat movement before installing it in the car,the seat moves/stops at some predetermined spot, when moving the seat fully forward or rearward. However, it seems to me, that if these "brackets" are not installed it could provide greater access to the rear mounting bolts, which access was a challenge, to say the least!.
Therefore, would any issues be raised if these "brackets" are not used?
Thanks!

They are normally attached to one of the rails in the front position. I imagine it is possible to slide the rails far enough forward that the seats would disengage. Likely not with a person occupying the seat though. Probably a matter of choice.
Cheers, Jon
