Maserati 3500 used both 5½K x 400mm RW 3661 as well as 5½K x 16" RW 3707 wheels. Both are 72 spoke with Type 42 hubs. The 2600 used type 52 hubs, hence these wheels do not fit 106 cars.

If they could be made to fit, I believe a lot of 106 owners (myself included) would have switched from 400 mm to 16" wheels, as there are more tire choices.

Hi All

T 42 hubs are also used on 1900CSS and I can make T42 hubs what will fit on 2000 and 2600

The tires 165x400 cinturati from Pirelli are not on stock but 185x400 cinturati from Pirelli used on 2600SZ are on stock

2600 SZ used 175-400 tires and nobody makes those any more. Owners have to switch to 165-400 or 185-400.

And I don't believe the 185-400 will fit the wheel well of the 2600 Spider. It does not fit the 2000 Spider. I tried one on my 2000 and it came into contact with the body.

Yes, they will fit -- and make the tires look a little bit wider than on the regular rims.
