Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has an archive of Bob Grossmans racing history in their possession or if anyone knows of someone who does...

Came across this image of Grossman driving this Giulietta in 1959. Not only does the roll bar look like an exact match but what sets this image apart from the rest is the Flat Tow attachments under the car. Which are still on my car to this day. Noticed in the newer photo below.

Thanks again,

Phillip

Philip,
Very nice pictures, however, I don't have Grossman's racing archive but I do know he raced a good amount in NY and elsewhere including in europe in Alfa's and Dino's in the late 1950's and probably through the '70's. He was fairly well known on Long Island and was guest speaker at one of our NY Alfa Owners club events. Also, I almost bought a beautiful Black/Tan '69 GTV from him but the car was destroyed in the terrible Suffolk pine barrens fire. He was a very interesting person to talk cars with who unfortunately passed away too soon and he was a true Alfisti.
I know a few of the older Alfa club members who would probably have some of the information your looking for on your Alfa and on Grossman.
