Murray,
How's it going? Can you describe the size of the oil separator charcoal canister? I have a 1981 and the dimensions are approx the diameter of a baseball about 6" high and has two ~10mm and two ~100mm ports. If yours is similar let me know I'll take it as long as there are no corrosion holes in it.

Hi poods2.......Are you talking about the "Charcoal canister with solenoid" or the "Gas vapor separator with check valves" both of these deal with gas vapors and are plastic.

I think your talking about the oil vapor seperator that connects to the crank vent tube off the cam cover which I don't have.

They are both in the garage attic and will get pictures for you tomorrow if your interested.

Are these black Spider parts guaranteed to be faster than, say, red spider parts?

Thanks Murray, for all the help over the past 3 years to me, and many more years for a lot of other Alfa owners. I can't tell you how much I value your advice, along with that of several others.

Thanks a Million, Robert Hill in Memphis

Black Spider parts are the fastest parts of them all. The white Spider's parts are the slowest.........without a doubt!!! :D

Robert you have been a great help to me too.............Thank you!

If true then I am proud. But I hardly see how. Your Alfa knowledge is tremendous.

These are from that "fast" black Spider that's always up on jack stands in your pics, eh? :D
