had a thought, can I install the clutch by just slipping on the friction disk and pressure plate cover on to the inputshaft then bolt the pressure pate on to the flywheel to make a easier install, yes I can:):) the upper oem cutout in the bellhousing will let me get to the cover bolts., the upper window, the lower on well be welded up soon

Looks good. Alfa nord is canted a little also, just the opposite direction 🙂

Couple folks asked me , why not 300 hp? I believe 200 is more than enough. 300 is overkill, and the chassis would be overwhelmed by that amount of power, with out flaring wheel wells, a 205/50/16 just sneeks in at the rear to fit, inner side well rub on compression. 310 hp I'm a 2019 mustang turbo is a handful. Some of you might disagree on this
But I am looking for a balance of power and handling

Took awhile, lots of measureing, and making shims to fit under the slave cylinder,and machining off the top of the drive button on the friction disk ( safe to do ) but I got my 14 mm of slave cly, movement

I took the slave cylinder apart to get a better job idea on how it would fit,and the distance I need from the friction plate( 3 mm) and I have 15 mm of slave cylinder activation
(12.5) mm is min. I need.

All I did is install mine so there was minimal clearance from the pressure plate diaphragm spring, with the thinking being that I wanted the clutch to disengage as fast as possible since I used this sort of slave cylinder (in concept) for my last club race car. You need clearance so the poor release bearing is not always spinning and wasting hp.

Was beaut; in the end the clutch pedal was like a switch and gear changes were so fast, thanks to a carbon ceramic clutch with no springs. Clutch pedal travel was like ~25mm. Fantastic

In this application, the throw out bearing will always be in contact with the pressure plate
The throw out / slave cylinder is from a Ford f150, it is designed to stay in contact
.o will post photos of the bearing side next, there is a spring that keeps constant force

while waiting on a few engine parts, I sanded and painted the driver rear quarter panel. made 1 bugger, fix later.. also I trimed the inside upper 'A; arm sheet metal to get extra clearence
