Working on clutch , I need 2 mm from the slave cylinder to the disk. If you look closely at the photo the bearing itself is not the problem. The bearing sits 3 mm lower than the cly. That is slides on, ( the black tube in the center ) the black tube in the center is pressed into the clutch disk center button as of now. I plan to cut the button off my disk, I am not going to use this disk, but the disk with no button oem, this might give me the clearance I need

Can you not just take 2mm off your mounting plate?

BTW: I had trouble too when I set one of these clutch slave cylinders up, but the other way (I had to space it closer to the pressure plate)

After 6-8 times removing and re installing the transmission, I got what I need, I replaced the 13 mm slave cly mount with a 4 mm mount ( had to drill the center out,and add two holes so the Allen bolts to go thru , to clamp it to the bellhousing mount) I ha

4.03 mm of space between the top of the clutch slave cly to the top of the friction dish on the input shaft, you ask yourself, how did he measure that while everything was inside of the bellhousing?

I had to shim the slave cylinder by 1.3 mm, useing very rare A&W root beer can shims, cut at 10 mm wide by 15 mm long. To center the input shaft I side the slave cly. You can see the shims on lower right of the slave cly. Plan to sand the aluminum base opposed the the shims very carefully so I don't have to run the shims permanently. I am afraid they might drop out due to vibration.

Took some time, but a lot of very careful grinding and sanding, some flat filling it is centered. I wanted to make sure it will be a clean release when I use the clutch

Made two spacers they a 1.3 mm thick. Just In case I need to move the slave cylinder closer. To make two of them, I super glued the spacers together, then drilled what I needed, some filling.
