On my '91 Spider, both the trunk and gas release levers kind of stick out always, instead of laying flat. I do not know if they have gotten bent from someone pulling too hard, or maybe the wires have stretched, so they do not return all the way? Anyways, anyone know how to make them lay flat again? Thanks!

Any chance someone turned the lock to lock them while pulling on them? That would keep them from returning flat.

I don't think so but will check it out - they are kind of "floppy"
