I'm planning on flying over from Carson City, and bringing a fellow who is undertaking the restoration of a 71 1750 GTV that his father bought new!

Normally, Larry has been good about picking me up at the Tracy airport, but he'll probably be busy playing host. Any chance someone could come snag us and shuttle us to Larry's? I'll be bringing a collection of Montreal, Touring 2000, and a few 2600 bits.

Uber!
As organizer, I'll probably be running around like the proverbial chicken with my head cut off. But I'm sure we can figure something out.
Send me a PM, I'll give you my cell phone and either I'll run out or we can dispatch someone.

Hey Don, I can pick you up in the beater van. Plenty of room for parts and people. A bit short on aesthetics but quite functional.

Andrew,

I'll Be Coming Down With Various 750 & 101 Series Parts. I Didn't Attend The Swap Meet In Marin (how was that?) Earlier This Year; it rained last year and I didn't want to deal with it this year - June In California Should Be Dry!

Bob... cool. And thanks Andrew.

If you ever see my "Whatatruck", you'd revise your definition of "beater"

Appreciate the help.

I'm sure Larry will be too busy to run out to the airport and as [dis]organizer I probably will be too. Horsewidower, are you volunteering? Or someone else?
Like I say, even in Tracy I'm sure there's Uber/Lyft, which can't be much for the distance.

Assuming the weather is on our side, I'll be bringing Joe from Reno, who is just starting the resto of his dad's 71 GTV. Essentially, in the family from new. It is unmolested, original, tiny bits of rust, and destined to a very nice example.

I drove the Whatatruck over to Sac and Stockton last week, picking up some trued-up wheels for my 102. Came back over Hwy 88 through the Sierra Nevada. Beautiful drive, but high and a bit scary.

The next morning I went to drive the truck to Costco and the brake pedal went straight to the floor.

Phew!!!!

Two photos from this year's Alfa Swap.

First is of Andrew, organizer of and driving force behind the Annual Alfa Swap. Second is of some parts awaiting sorting in APE's shed.

There were approximately 15 sellers, possibly a few more, with their offerings spread around the parking lot. (Didn't take pictures of any but Andrew.)

Thanks go to Andrew for continuing to make this event happen and to APE for hosting.
