Even though I am a pedant (and I like everything to be in mint condition) I must agree that a restoration would kill it's original look.

For such a 'rare' car, perhaps a good clean and tidy of any potentially missing/broken parts etc would be a great idea - then put it back into service!. A full show car resto would really do it a disservice.

Fantastic find, it even has original Siracusa licence plates. I wonder who had it in Sicily,and was it ever raced in Sicily,perhaps in the Targa Florio
