The manual states that between the different components on the driven shaft there must be certain amounts of axial play, the info and places to be measured is not very clear to me, can anyone off you please elaborate ?

Depending on language differences the driven shaft could be the shaft that goes into the clutch or what is commonly called the input shaft here in the USA, at least my part of it :)

I think you mean the output shaft that connects to the drive or propeller shaft, right?

Yes, the one where all the mindboggling stuff is on :D the longer I look at it, the easier it gets but want to be sure that when everything is in place again it will work like it should.

Did you keep clearances between the yokes, bearings and gears putting it together or just mount every part snug to the other ?

I have a complete output shaft in my shop. I can take a look at it and see where they are measuring the clearances.
