Hi fellow Aflisti,

Most of you know about this as it was mentioned in the last club newsletter. Autos in the Park is put on at the grounds of The Cooper Aerobics Clinic on Preston Road, just south of IH-635. Here are some details from their most recent email to me. Thanks everyone!

As in year's past the Cooper campus at 12300 Preston Road will be divided into 4 main areas based on your show car's country of origin (look for the black and yellow country of origin signs posted on Preston Road):

- British and Italian cars: center of the campus, enter at the main campus gate midway between Willow and Churchill

Please begin arriving at 9:30 AM so as to be ready for the show's opening at 11:00. After arriving in your designated region, look for guides to show you to your club area (if appropriate) or to a parking space. When entering the campus off of Preston there may be several show cars behind you so, to avoid fender-benders, please move quickly into the campus.

Guides will assist you in finding a parking place. Car clubs should designate a member to arrive early so as to direct members to their area. After parking proceed to the Cooper Clinic and sign in. This will get you a dashboard sign displaying your car number for voting purposes and a ballot. We will have in excess of 30 awards this year so be sure you come to the awards ceremony beginning at 3:30 in front of the Clinic. Tyler's Restaurant located in the Cooper Fitness Center at the southeast edge of campus will have special Sunday hours so plan on stopping by for breakfast and lunch goodies.

Need a room at the award-winning Cooper Guest Lodge? Call 800.444.5187 and ask for rates and availability. Restrooms are located in The Cooper Guest Lodge just north of the Cooper Clinic. As in past years, no BBQing, alcoholic beverages or music please. It's still not too late to register so please pass the word to your friends and fellow club members. And remember, although we prefer pre-registrations, it's not mandatory...we will accommodate walk-ins on the day of the show. To register simple send an email with your car's year, make and model to [email protected]. Let us know if you have questions...

On behalf of The Cooper Institute and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, thanks for your support.
