Celebrating their 20th anniversary, Autodelta unveiled at the MPH07 Motor Show in London this past weekend their version of the sensuous sixth generation type 939 Alfa Romeo Spider. Based on the Alfa Romeo Brera Coupe 3.2 V6 JTS, Autodelta has carefully crafted a styling package which compliments the Spider's sensuous Pininfarina design with its own unique yet discreet interpretation.

The Autodelta Spider J6 3.2 C consists of a front bumper containing Autodelta's visual stamp, side skirts, rear bumper fascia with diffuser between the quad exhaust tail pipes and a new stainless steel exhaust system co-developed with technical partner Ragazzon.

Beyond appearances, Autodelta has also put together a serious engine package. Known for its durability, light weight, and compact size, the Rotrex C30-94 integral supercharger unit has been fitted. Considered one of the most responsive supercharger units on the market, the Autodelta Spider J6 3.2 C produces an additional 92 bhp to 348 bhp and 108 Nm to 430 Nm of torque resulting in 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds while hitting a top speed of 260 km/h.

Now that sounds like a serious mill unlike the 0-60, 8 second slug the're fitting in the new cars.

Good question, last I heard the J5 Brera (the one before this, non spider version) is an add on to an existing Brera you own, and cost 20K GBP.. Not cheap, so I'm curious to see what this package would run, the spider looks like they've added some cool stuff, including a rear diffuser..

From alfaowner..

I gotta agree with the Russian on this one. The Brera Spider needs an engine like this to back up its aggressive appearance. The high-end factory Spiders should have already been 350 hp. The Autodelta versions should have 400-450 hp.
