I'm selling my 1987 Alfa Romeo 75 Twinspark as I've bought another car. I purchased it at 151083 km at which point it got a new clutch and new brake disks and pads. Was planning to part it out and keep the motor but I just don't have time to do that at the momnet. Fully registered and warranted.
I have a wad of receipts as I've spent a horrendous amount of money on it over 8 years.
New Bilsteins, front lower balljoints, Dobi lowering springs and polyurethane bushings throughout rear de-dion at 155083 km.
Full engine and gearbox overhaul at 157533 km. New rings, bearings, valve guides. Injectors cleaned and balanced. $608 labour on head, $1227 labour on block + lots of parts. Custom polyurethane engine mounts were installed. Engine runs fantastic.
Overhauled driveshaft (bearings and new guibos) at 168060 km.
New battery at 172197 km (July 09).
Current mileage 175600 km.
AC evaporator has new diaphram valve and was pressure tested (not yet gassed), cost $178.
Ronal A1 15” alloys with ½ worn Dunlop FM901 tyres.
Brand new front clear indicators were installed by me when I bought it.
Will provide hardcopy of service manuals.
Car has a Panasonic cassette deck and 8 disk CD Changer.
Car alarm installed.

Engine bay painted red during engine rebuild.
Exhaust rattles like you wouldn’t believe. I think the resonator has given way. I redid the rear half of the exhaust last year.
Bodywork is ratty. It won’t win any concours. Paint isn't the prettiest.
Drivers window needs a push to close, just needs alignment.
Engine leaks a little oil. Whose dumb idea was it to use cardboard instead of decent rubber seals?
Gearbox has lost self centering. Easy fix once gearbox out.
I'm asking $1800 on the basis that it has had a large amount of expenditure (all receipts have been kept for last 8 years). At that price I'll throw in the following:
New unused AC drier.
Overhauled AC pump (not yet installed).
Spare tailights and headlights.
Spare radiator & fan.
Spare AC condensor.
Spare side window.
Number Plate "AR75TS".

No its a light blue color. Im in Hastings and the car use to be long to a guy in Napier. The guy who owned just drove it into the ground, its got a blown head gasket, aparently the same guy now has a nice 164 that hes doing the same thing to.Hi... (and welcome...)
The V6 you just picked up wouldn't happen to be a black 3.0 would it? I'd be surprised if it isn't as there aren't too many around with a Zender kit and wheels and a while ago I heard a rumour that the black one that used to reside in the South Island had bitten the dust!
If it's true that would make it 11 (I think) real 75 3.0 V6s left!
There is a difference between using a car and trashing a car, and obviously this guy has trashed it, smashed the bumpers, blown head gasket, oil every where, interior scummy, heard he was trying to sell the 164 with a blown head gasket to the wreckersar75ts,
I wonder how he drive it into the ground. Perhaps just by using it for its intended purpose.
