From the for sale ad:

While the early history of our car, chassis 613875, is unknown (we are awaiting its Certificate of Origin from the factory), it is listed in Tony Adriaenssens “Alleggerita” book as being registered with plate “HH-E 42" in Hamburg on July 24th 1981. It was then acquired by Dutch dealer/racer David Hart who sold the car in 1993 to fellow dutchman Eric Heerema. Heerema and his team spared no expense in preparing the car for the Historic Touring Car Championship which they ran very successfully in the next several years regularly beating the factory supported Scuderia Del Portello GTA’s. After 7 years of racing, Heerema then sold the car to UK historic racer Peter Sugden who kept the car for 8 years until selling it to the current UK owner in 2009.

GTA #613875 has since competed in many U2TC championships being looked after by renowned preparer Andy Wolfe. Amongst its many U2TC races, it also competed in the 2011 Tour Auto where it won the famous Bois de Bager stage driven by Richard Meaden and finished the event 1st in class and 6th overall. Andy Wolfe – who confirmed the car’s originality still carrying its original floor pan and sills - has recently completely refurbished the car including a new FIA fuel bag and fresh repaint. The engine (dyno-sheet available) and gearbox were also rebuild and have seen very little use since. Last but not least, this stunning GTA comes with an FIA HTP valid until 2026, a UK V5 road registration and an excellent spares package whereby a 2nd, spare GTA-engine is also available as an option.
