I have a Ar 118.284s camshaft here.

I suspect it to be a Colombo bariani, but cannot find any data on it.

Anyone?

Measurement tells me the lift is 11,3mm

I have another camshaft, looks like a c&b too, but no markings. Measures a 10,1mm.

thats C&B for sure, 118.284S states for 11.8mm of lift with 284º @ ........ and the S is for stradale wich is for street use but 11.8mm of lift is not very streetable, shouldnt be a 113.284S? that will be more like it

thats why i told you about 113 instead of 118 becouse you tell us that meassuring the lift yields 11,3mm, the old way C&B had to mark camshafts was the first 3 numbers where the lift in your case 118= 11,8mm and the second 3 is for the open valve duration, in your case 284º @ whatever lift, and then you had S and C wich was for Stradale (streetversion) and Corsa (race application) hoop this helps

I did some measuring with a dial gauge. It is in fact 11,8mm the other one is 10,9mm.

So i suspect that is a 109.280s.

Good combo?
