I Am Negotiating A 1991 Spider With 22,000 And This Guy Proposed This Alfa Mechanic In Long Island !!! Can You Ask If Anyone Know ?
Otherwise I Got To Use Anothe Mechanic To Inspect The Car
Both the Auto Clinic and the Import Center are close enough to Oz Pk (less than 30 mins)... and both are excellent places to get an informed assessment of the car.
The last thing I would do is go to a mechanic that the seller recommends. The only 2 places to go to IMO would be be Alfa in Baldwin or Alfa in Ridgewood (Queens).
I would hesitate to recommend my mechanic even though she has been good to me in the past

I know Peter at Roma. Used to be a Fiat new car dealer. I bought my new Spider from him in 1982. Does great work. I now use Alfa Import Center in Queens, as it is closer to where I live.
