Last week one of the front smal lights (beside the turn signal driver side), right rear light, dashboard lights and one numbershield light packed up on my 1973 Giulia Super (no power arrives, bulbs are fine).
Guess what, fuse 5 burnt (new one burnt directly after I turned the lights on).
After some measuring around the suspect is the light switch on the steering collumn.
These things are expensive now and beside that I would like to use the car again on Friday for a weekend trip (yes, no trailer queen, this lady looks good for the catwalk but is used on average a 8000Km. a year).
I heard that you can repair these by drilling out some pop reverts, bending and cleaning some contacts and closing it again with flat head screws.
Does anybody know a bit more about it beside this very short summary?
