To save a little searching time for potentially interested parties: the "high desert" location of this auction facility is in Hesperia, CA. Wrong side of the continent for me.

well, not that I'm an expert. I haven't seen any deserts around Maryland.

Still, seems like something good should come from this.

Says rollover, but looks like it was driven off an overpass. This is not far from Buttonwillow. Victorville, Applevalley area.

The web page says (below the large picture) this insurance case 133-5576306 is dated 06/04/2009 and at the top right, the web page says "Data Last Updated: Feb-4 1:20 AM CST" (presumably 2010, I would guess) -- so, the car is probably long gone.

Nope, not gone. Sometimes it takes insurance auctions that long to sort through stuff.

Heck, cut the roof off, make it a spider, add a roll bar to make up for lost rigidity, good as new.

I particularly like the angle from which the engine picture was taken... probably standing on the roof!
