I'm not sure where to post this, but this forum is the only one I could find that would allow me to post a new thread. I've been doing and having done work on my '89 Spider Veloce and have been told that my wiring is a bit of a mess of splicings and improper connections. (DPPO!I) I’ve read tangential threads and come away with the belief that a thorough sorting out and reworking of the wiring may cost anywhere from $1K to $3K (...gulp...) That's a significant margin. In fact, the only thing I pulled from the threads where there was consensus seemed to be that an electrical specialist would be best to tackle the problem. The information I'd like from anyone who knows, then, is contact data of an Alfa or general automotive electrical specialist in Los Angeles / SoCal area who might be willing to tackle the task. The car is my only drive and I've been without it for six weeks now while attempting to have the heater/defogger repaired (replaced piece by piece and awaiting a new shipment of yet another piece). There do seem to be several people who might benefit from sharing the information if you know of anyone. Thanks. :detective:
