Friends,

I have just completed a double head/head gasket replacement (with mounts and tensioner). I am driving the 91, 164 daily to accumulate retorque mileage. The car today handled a trip in 90 degrees real well. I was about to proclaim the job a success when every last warning light came on at the same time and stayed on! I pulsed the test button to no avail. The temperature started climbing to 1 notch below high and the fan seemed not to be working (it was earlier in the day). All this in San Francisco rush hour traffic. I found a spot pulled over and disconnected the battery for 20 seconds. Reconnected and all was fine but the temp still stayed kind of high and I think the fan was intermittant. Has anyone else had this situation in the past and what was the cure?

Thank you. I have one in the kit and will replace it tomorrow. I did look OK as I did check it but as we know, these critters are sneaky.
