Did a photoshoot to help out my friend who is selling the Lancia and the Ferrari (both stunning examples), well it doesn't hurt to have an Alfa in the picture....

All nice. The Lancia is more obscure than even the Alfas. The Ferrari is likely the most valuable, but also the most expensive. There is a 1750 Spider on eBay over $23,000 right now ( not unreasonable - it's in perfect shape, and the 1600 Duetto is even more desirable).

The boat tail in you're picture seems to have the lower front bumpers painted black. They are stainless steel and should be polished.

Red

Spider Juniors in Europe has steel- not stainless steel lower bars. And this car might be a Junior as it does not have the side marker lights of a US Duetto. And is RH drive.

It has the front marker lights that seem to go with the 1750 Spider. It is RHD - good catch! Definitely not a US spec. Is England the only RHD country in Europe? It also has the Euro-spec recessed headlights, but no covers - another 1750 indicator? Also has two rear-view mirrors - these were dealer options in the US 1600 cars, maybe also in the US 1750's.

Interesting comments, re my Spider, it's a 1300 Junior and is all correct, look up the differences between the 1300 and 1750 in 1968. :detective:

The Ferrari is for sale for $186,000 (Vetroresina (Fibreglass), Dry Sump model).

The Lacia Beta Spyder 2lt is a lot less at $10500.

The Alfa Spider is not for sale.

you think a 1750 spider is worth 23 k ? it would have to have to still be untitled with zero miles and still have the window sticker on it to even be close to that. and at that it would be a stretch.
