I've had quite a good look on the web for kkk spare parts suppliers to no avail. Does anyone on here know where spare parts can be purchased for a K26 Turbodelta / Autodelta turbo for an Alfetta GTV 1981?

Also, does anyone know how the KKK turbo part numbers relate to the individual components in the turbo, ie can I use parts from Audi, Golf, Porsche etc to rebuild my turbo or at least reference these turbos so that spares can be purchased. My turbo part numbers are as follows:

Grosse K26-2470R4:11

at:R61:5670293
ausfNR 5326 970 7002
RAT2869
RAT12241

In a perfect world I would be able to buy a new turbo complete, if not, then mine needs bearings and seal kit plus turbine wheel at a minimum....ie probably cheaper to buy a new one!

I currently run an SR20 ball bearing turbo on the car (which is stuffed), but would like to return to the stock standard kkk turbo for originality since I have all the gear to do this.

Any help would be much apperciated as I have had several looks on the web to no avail. Perhaps someone from Germany can chime in or have a look locally for me.

I would also be interested in knowing what turbo the Autodelta rally cars ran as they just refer to a F1 wastgate, but surely they ran a different spec turbo to produce the reported 370Hp and 420 lbft! See attached.

The wastegate used by Autodelta seems to be the same as used by Audi Quattros...

Try posting that info at motorgeek.com. This is a mostly Audi site. If you are lucky a K26 off of an Audi 5000/200 turbo will work. Also these guys often swap the K26 for a K24 (from 200/S4) for the faster spool-up. Apparently it is a direct swap.

OK cool, I'll do that. I'm not interested in other bolt on kkk turbos, just getting parts to build mine. Otherwise I would just go Garrett as I have and be done with it. It's really to keep the car authentic to the period. Thanks for the tip, they probably will know where to get them built.

The turbodelta Rally power figures in that list could be a little inflated, probably claimed by the owner. Here the factory figures which are specified at a lower turbo pressure.

The Group 4 rally turbo seem to be rather original in size, according to these photos.

Yes I tend to agree, those figures seem much more realistic! And the turbo does seem rather 'stock' in size..maybe just a larger comp wheel and a back cut turbine wheel..

No idea about jafeco turbos...is it relevant?

Called a turbo specialist in Melbourne today who had rebuilt the kkk last time. they started off very confident that they could repair it....and quickly changed their tune to...'are you sure thats the right part number'?! I don't hold much hope with them being able to source original parts...maybe variations on the theme, but not original.

I also got told that kkk turbo part numbers are not very informative, ie the last number in the string is the part number, and does not tell you anything more about sizes of components...not very helpfull should I wish to hunt down equivilent turbos with one more casting on the comp cover etc.

Good pics alfa2go, but is that turbo a stock standard one? It looks different from the ones I have seen here in Aus, maybe its just the name plate, are you able to make out the numbers on the name plate? I can not quite on this image.

Just so we stay on topic, this thread has been raised to determine as much info on the kkk turbo run on the Turbodelta/Autodelta Alfetta, road and track is fine. More importantly it's been raised to determine where to buy parts and/or buy new turbos of the same make and type.

NCNG perhaps start a thread on the geneeral info you require on the turbodelta, if you are looking to buy one, many people have one on here and will chime in with help, me included. And to answer the question...how long is a peice of string? There are a few variations on the kits so the question would be relevant to particular kits. But if it puts your mind at ease, I run 20psi on one of these motors and am yet to blow a head gasket...but I run good fuel, good tune, would not run this boost on a hot day and am mechanically sympathetic.

I am led to beleive that the 999 part of the code means little other than that it is a newer turbo than the one on my car, I think 970 is a an old kkk turbo number, the last 4 digits are different again from mine and these 4 numbers refer to the part number of the turbo (and this is info from a kkk turbo repairer). So the turbo is definitely a different turbo, possibly not factory? whose car is it?

That guy is on this forum I think, and that's not a stock turbo. Interesting mono liner though.
