Hi Everyone:

I just ordered 6 panasport copy wheels in 15x7 size 4x98 bolt, 35 offset etc....

Question is to go with tires 205 55 15's or 205 60 15's? 55's are a hair smaller and 60's a hair bigger...of course, both are wider..

unfortunately, there is no 195 60 15's in the tire I want.

Anyone have some pics of either 205 size on an alfetta?? Side shot preferred.....

Thanks

Thanks fellas! Pic very helpful.
i went with the 55's and will see. I like the look of the 60's..55's were just a hair closer to OE diameter...

BJ: i looked at your public pic...those look a little thick for 50's..?? maybe 55's. They look good, too.

Just to let everyone know, 18 racing now has a few sets of the RB panasport copies in stock. these are 15x7's with 35mm offset and 58.5 center bore, 4x98 bolt pattern

18 Racing -- RB: minilite, panasport replica

they probably have 14 Silver color left?? I think they have gunmetal , too.....these are Rota wheels. I have several sets of Rota wheels and they are made very well. Better than Ronals I bought a few years ago...

I did have to buy different lug nuts for the other set on GTV6 as the whell hub thickness is less than stock ( ACORN BULGE CHROME LUG NUTS 12 x 1.5 TOYOTA BLAZER
nuts fit)

Alfetta tires

A bit of it is up to the individual tire. Before I got the P6s a friend wanted to get rid of some Yokohama A008s. They were also 205/60-15 but were massive compared to the Pirellis and just didn't fit well.

Almost unrelated, on the Spider I've had the original 185/70, 195/60, 195/65-14s and 195/60, 205/50, 205/60 and the 205/55-15s on the Spider. The 50s had great grip, especially when worn and the steering was much lighter with the original tires. I like the current 205/55-15 Kumho Ecsta 711 as the best compromise.

Yes. True that not all tires measure out the same even with same numbers...

I have 225 g-force sports all around on my gtv6 and love the grip, but don;t try to turn the wheel when sitting still.....

I bought a set of 205 55 g-force sports for the alfetta.

I really like the tire. Great price, excellent grip (I have taken some time doing parking lot spin outs) , nice ride (not too hard, not too soft) and quiet enough on concrete or asphalt (very quiet on asphalt)

My public pic was my old 76 with 14" Daytonas and the stock tire size from way back when. Not my Ronals....

Here are my Ronals.... 15x7, 205/50/15...

those T/A 50's look just right on your car. I did think 60's would bee too tall. hopefully the G-force's 55's will look similar...

and NICE Alfetta, too!
